Andrew Bloom

Chief Waste Man

Andrew Bloom graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland College Park.  Upon graduation he moved back to New York to start The Great American Vending Machine Company.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Andrew’s vending company spanned 5 states (New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire).  After building the company for over 15 years Andrew sold The Great American Vending to his partner and relocated to Florida. Continuing in his entrepreneurial path, Andrew utilized his 15 years of route service experience to start Shred Trust, a mobile document and information destruction company.  Over the past 5 years, he has grown the company to become a prominent shredding company in the tri-county area.

While managing Shred Trust, Andrew realized what a tremendous synergy it has with the medical waste disposal industry.  Spending months on research and development, Medical Waste Services, LLC was formed. At the end of 2009 he launched Medical Waste Services .

Andrew is a self starter that loves a challenge.  “I want to give my clients great boutique style service and still be competitive. That is my theory in regards to building any business that I am involved with.”
